Meet Our CEO
Teyne Crum serves as the Youth Minister at New Testament Family Fellowship Church of God, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Yvonne Best for over 10 years. Teyne’s zeal in life is to serve God by teaching young people to identify who they are based on their spiritual being and not based on the views, opinions, or superficial standards of society. Teyne strives to become an "agent of change" in the lives of young people, in her perspective community, and throughout Philadelphia. She attended Dobbins AVTS High School, where she studied Business Education. After graduating from Dobbins, she entered Chestnut Hill College and majored in Communications and Technology. It was there were she discovered her passion to exhort others by speaking life through the word of God; she begun bible study classes for young women who were looking for hope. She finally entered Eastern University’s Campolo College School for Social Change and received her Master’s Degree in Urban Studies and Youth Development.
In 2006, Teyne joined several youth ministers within the Church of God throughout Philadelphia to establish the Delaware Valley Youth Ministry Coalition. DVYMC is an organization that strives to devise solutions that easily beset young people within the Church of God and communities in Philadelphia. Teyne currently serves as the Vice Chairperson of DVYMC. She also served as a mentor for youth in several churches, those who are in residential behavior homes, in foster care, and for the Dynamic Duo Jewish Family and Children Services.
Teyne has over 12 years of experience working hands on with youth from diverse ethnicity and backgrounds. Teyne has assisted in the development of youth groups, ministries, organizations, after school programs, and various community projects. In addition, she has over 10 years experience working in a corporate environment. She has managed coached, trained, and developed individuals in leadership positions.
"The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborourers are few." (Matthew 9:37- NKJV). There are so many adolescents in need of support and there simply not enough people willing to build a bridge to connect to these youths. In John 12:25, Jesus says that: "Those who love their life will lose it, while those who invest it in spiritual activity will find it". Teyne would rather invest her time, her life, or spend the rest of her life pleasing God by serving Him through the service of people.
